Jeannette Santino
Integrative Clinical Nutritionist
Trauma Recovery Coach

Texas born....California raised.
We always had a garden growing up, and frequently made homemade ice cream in the old crank freezers; especially in the summers. My mother, aunt and grandmothers always cooked from scratch, from fresh baked bread and pies, to the black-eyed peas we would set around and "shell".

We played outside in the mud, climbed trees, and slept with our pillows in the windowsill during the summer rains. Life wasn't perfect for my sister and I, but we knew we were loved by those that took care of us, be it mom, dad, grandmother, aunts, uncles or cousins.

We had our share of trauma that left impressions on our growing brains. Show me someone today that has not had a traumatic event in their life. Nonetheless, all trauma can leave perceptions that will either serve us in the future or limit us. The healthy thing to do is to address them and turn our negative perceptions into positive ones.

It was my personal journey to overcome the negative effects of trauma that lead me to using the unique techniques I utilize today with my Clients in Trauma Recovery. I call this process the Insightful Change Method

"I am only one,
But still I am one.
I cannot do everything,
But still I can do something;
And because I cannot do everything,
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."
(The Book of Good Cheer: A Little Bundle of Cheery Thoughts (1909) by Edwin Osgood Grover.

PRIMARY AREAS OF FOCUS:

Corrective & targeted nutrition based on laboratory findings (takes out the guesswork)
Adrenal & Hormonal Dysfunction
Trauma Recovery

A Balanced Approach to Physical and Emotional Wellness:

“We can change our diet to one of pure, whole, natural foods and begin rebuilding health immediately. If we want to further support that process, then proper application of concentrated nutritional supplementation can often help us to reach our goal sooner than by dietary changes alone. However, the reverse is not true. We cannot achieve optimum health by taking nutritional supplements and continuing to consume devalued processed junk foods and live an unhealthy lifestyle.”
Jeannette Santino

“While we say nutrition is most important, it is not everything. But, we must realize that when we apply the mental, physical, mechanical and chemical therapies in the healing art, it will be to no avail unless the nutritional foundation has been properly laid. No therapy can ultimately be successful unless we have the nutritional art working with it” Dr. Bernard Jensen, DC, PhD

We cannot think sour thoughts and expect to have sweet digestion and assimilation. We can’t have a sick mind and a healthy body or healthy spirit. Sickness in one infects the others. Health is a way of life. You can’t get it from a drug, an operation or a week-long crash diet. We earn health by the way we treat others, by what we think, by the way we eat, work, sleep, exercise, relax and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. We must bring in the highest and finest forces to experience high-level wellness.” Dr. Bernard Jensen, DC, PhD
