Custom Hormone / Adrenal Crèmes
1) Hormone Testing - Isolated hormone evaluation will no longer be done by this office. Why? Because we cannot maintain sex hormone balance when adrenal stress is present; and adrenal dysregulation cannot be corrected with the on going presence of chronic bacterial / viral infections, inflammatory conditions, food sensitivities and/or gastro-intestinal issues.
It has been my experience that when focusing solely on the hormonal imbalance and not addressing the “hidden” cause(s) will, in time, lead to more complicated health issues. Focusing solely on the sex hormones may lull us into feeling ‘all is well’, when all we are actually doing is supporting the symptoms while never addressing the underlying issues driving the symptoms.
For more rapid and complete restoration to homeostasis, we need to identify and address the “hidden” issues that are causing adrenal and sex hormone dysregulation. By doing so it becomes easier to balance and maintain healthy adrenal function and hormonal balance regardless of our age.
Please do not conclude that evaluating adrenal function and sex hormone ratios is not important. Balancing both is critical to our over-all health and well-being. Therefore, we will still test hormones on occasion when the need arises, but not as an isolated test. If you are seeking my assistance to restoring health, these tests will be done as part of the whole.
